August Beyond Our Walls: Northern Illinois Food Bank
The NIFB provides nutritious meals to those in need through innovative programs and partnerships. They distributed 66 million meals last year! Northern Illinois Food Bank has received Charity Navigator’s 4-Star rating since 2003 for its fiscal responsibility. Ninety-seven percent of the Food Bank’s resources go to programs that feed the hungry. The Food Bank can stretch every $1 donated into $8 worth of groceries! During the August collections, be sure to write BOW in the memo line if you would like your donation to help support the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
